Body takes a ride on breath

When we come to the mat we move our bodies, no doubt about that. But what else are we moving and where are we moving? As we approach each of the asana we are presented with intriguing if perplexing positions. We then remember that this is an ancient science of movement breath and spirit. For me, it is truly the science of soul. Whether a strong vinyasa or a gentle restorative sangha we are absolutely setting up a opportunity for healing, contentment and exploration.
That said, continuing on this well traveled road we may notice some of the physical attributes of the postures start showing up in our day to day life. And some of the teachings start sprouting roots in our hearts. Next thing you know you’re in practice all the time, 24-7. Me? I LOVE THAT!
So move your body, move your breath and mostly move your soul.
